High-Intensity Polychromatic UV for Advanced Disinfection

Medium pressure UV sterilizers produce broad-spectrum (polychromatic) ultraviolet light with significantly higher intensity per lamp compared to low pressure systems. This makes them capable of delivering very high UV doses in compact reactor designs, ideal for applications where space is limited but high disinfection performance is required.

The polychromatic output is particularly effective for chloramine reduction and applications requiring photolysis of specific chemical compounds, in addition to standard microbial disinfection. Fewer lamps are needed compared to low pressure systems treating the same flow rate, simplifying maintenance and reducing the system footprint.
